One down, one more to go

Wow, I can't believe this first semester is pretty much almost over!  Its crazy how fast its gone by.  My first semester overall has been good and not too tough.  I've made good grades and have been proud of the way I've performed on different assignments.  I still haven't fully decided on a major yet, but I'm hoping to figure it out for sure next semester.  I have some mixed feelings about next semester, I'm excited but them I'm not.  I'm excited because I'll meet some new people, and hopefully have some good classes.  But I'm not to excited that I'm going from 13 credit hours to 17.  Its a big jump and probably going to be more work, but I know i'll be able to do it.  Now I'm really just looking forward to Christmas Break, where I have three whole long weeks to not worry about a thing and relax. :) I can't wait!

Thanksgiving breakkkk :)

Next week is break! I'm very excited because I think I'm going home Monday so that tues I can go to work with my mom to see what its like for her job since i have an interest with working with special needs children.  On wed. I think we might be going to Illionios for Thanksgiving, which I'm very excited because I love my aunt and uncles house and I'll get to see my cousins who I haven't seen in awhile.  I always love Thanksgiving because it's fun getting to be with family the whole time who I have missed the most being here at BSU.  But also I can't forget that awesome food were going to have because thats the best part!  I would have to say my favorite dish on Thanksgiving would probably have to be my moms sweet potato castelrole. It's awesome!  Anyways I'm very excited for next week and this week to be over since I have so many tests and projects due, and next week I have nothing due, it'll be great :)

I wish the weather would make up it's mind....

So we go from snow and freezing cold weather to this week were its in high 60s and  you don't even need a jacket. I don't get it ! I mean I'm not complaining I love the weather this week but I just think it's so weird how the weather changes just like that.  I'm use to it though, thats Indiana weather and thats the way its been my whole life.  Next week well probably be back to snow but who knows it could be in the 80s, its Indiana.  I guess I should take advantage of what warm weather we have next before all this snow comes for the winter, because I'm definately not ready for it! :(

Research Paper reflection thus far

So far my research paper has gone pretty well.  I feel like I have a lot of good information and facts that support each side of the argument on animal lab testing. I'm really glad I choose this topic because it has good supporting facts and details that reflect each side of the arguements.  I wrote my rough draft all at once but I kind of wish I would have spaced it out more and wrote it in pieces just so I wouldn't have to do it all at once.  What I think I could of done better is find so more cites other then the ones our group found.  I did find some other good ones but I didn't look as hard since we had some on our group page but they were good sources.  I'm excited to see what I can improve on for my paper so I can begin to write the final draft and hopefully get an A!

HAll0WEEN WEEKEND

This weekend is HAll0WEEN!  I'm very excited because it's going to be a really fun weekend.  This halloween I choose to be somthing funny for my costume.  Me and four other of my friends are all being pengiuns, the costumes are all hilarious and I think it's going to be fun to walk around in them over the weekend.  Hopefully we get good reactions from wearing them because their are really funny.  I'm excited to see other peoples costumes at other parties too just to see the different ones.  So I'm very excited for this weekend to get here because it will be nice to be able to have fun and forget about school for a little bit.  I'm expecting this weekend to be alot of fun and I can't wait! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

a little late..

This is my post from last week, the one I originally posted didn't post I guess, so hopefully I get some points for this.  But anyways last week on the research project we figured out what our topic was going to be which is animal cruelty with lab testing.  We did our proposal and said what we were going to do as a group and the different steps we were going to take to find out more and more about our topic and why people do animal cruelty.

This week we got assigned to do a research paper, which we will be disscussing in our groups.  We haven't picked our groups yet but we will be doing that in class tmrw.  I think this research paper will be a cool project because we actually get to discuss the topic together within our groups which nice for ideas on the paper if everyone actually talks.  I haven't come up with any topics yet because I want to be able to interact with my group first and see what some of their ideas are.  I haven't really had any ideas yet but I just want to go into it with an open minds and hopefully we get a good topic to write about.
